Quisiera agradecer el profesionalismo, la atención y la calidad humana de la Doctora y todo su equipo. Hace poco más de 2 años que soy paciente y desde el primer momento ha demostrado la pericia y conocimiento para dar seguimiento a mi patología, cataratas congénitas. Recientemente tomamos la decisión de operar, con mucha paciencia y pedagogía me ha explicado paso a paso el proceso, todas las veces que fuera necesario para darme contención y seguridad. No puedo estar más satisfecha y feliz con la dedicación y por supuesto el resultado.

I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes performed by Dra Carretero. She started with an initial examination and consultation in Estepona, then later at her clinic in Marbella. She explained all my options regarding surgery and lenses very clearly and I felt confident about undergoing the operations. All appointments, prior to and after the surgery were very efficiently handled by her clinic receptionists, who spoke excellent English and were helpful. I experienced very little waiting time as all appointments kept to schedule. The operations took place in a private hospital in Marbella. I am very happy with the results and have not seen this well for a very long time. Follow up consultations were thorough and efficient. Dra Carretero is friendly and approachable with a caring manner. I was very impressed with every aspect of my experience at her clinic and in surgery; I wouldn’t hesitate to return to her clinic for any further needs regarding my eyes. Dra. Gloria Carretero is truly a remarkable eye surgeon. She has the best technology and up to date equipment in her clinic. Her personalized treatment, professionalism, as a surgeon and as a person. I was very scared for the cataract surgery and to have the lenses fitted. She explained everything in great detail and assured me of her best attention. The two operations (which were done a week apart) have really changed my life.
