Clínica Dental Terraza Puerto

I came in for a cleaning and was told I needed new fillers. Did the fillers, didn’t get the cleaning nor an explanation why the cleaning wasn’t done, which is frustrating as that was the reason why I came and also because I had paid for it already. Cost me an absolute fortune to be honest. Had to come back to fix one of the fillings (twice, and it’s still not good) and each time the dentist insisted I should get Invisalign (which costs about 5k). He insisted a lot, to the point it was inconvenient. When I said I didn’t want Invisalign, he tried to push my appointment back by a week… so to fix something from a previous appointment that was already paid for, he doesn’t have time, but to charge me 5k he frees up his diary immediately, conveniently. He also has a tendency to take emergency appointments and I have been so lucky to have been to his clinic 4 times, and on 3 of them there was an emergency in front of me. In one of the occasions I waited 45min due to him squeezing someone in in front of me. I am writing this right after storming out when he said there was an emergency appointment in front of me. I was supposed to be the first appointment of the day - if he wants to take an emergency patient, come in earlier and be respectful to your other patients who have booked appointments weeks in advance and show up on time! He agreed to see me but shrugged and answered back in a naughty and unprofessional manner, making me rather uncomfortable to have him perform any treatment on me. He’s done a poor job when things were fine, God knows what sort of work he will do when he’s upset with me. After reading the reviews, I see that this clinic seems to be very money driven and wonder if I even needed the fillings to begin with. Had I seen this sooner, I would have chosen someplace else. I don’t intend to come back and wouldn’t recommend. He is disrespectful as a professional and doesn’t seem to be a good dentist, skills-wise. After spending €500+, I am now off to find a new dentist to fix whatever he did to my teeth.

No la recomiendo, me arruinó la boca. Endodoncia mal hecha. La pieza posterior a la endodoncia se inflamada, tenía absceso, me dijo q no era nada, y se terminó partiendo. Ahora necesito 2 implantes para reemplazar ambas piezas y un presupuesto de más de 2 mil euros. Todo mal

It is quite difficult to sum up the experience I had in this clinic. Back in January I had a chipped tooth which was bothering me a lot, so I decided to get it fixed as soon as possible. Being the 31st of January I only managed to get an appointment in this clinic. I have to admit it that I got it fixed at a fair price being an emergency and considering the time and date. After that as I was quite happy with the treatment I received so I decided to give it a try and make him my permanent dentist. Later I decided to go and have a standard check up at the clinic. He advised me that I might need brackets to improve my biting and that did not surprise much as I had the same recommendation from another specialist. The good/normal experience ended right there. Later he said that I need a scaling and root planning which surprised me quite a lot as I had it the previous year and I was advised that I would only need to do a normal teeth cleaning every six months. This is the first thing he made me suspicious as my gum was just slightly inflamed and did not need such treatment (which is not cheap by the way). He then said that I had two cavities that needed to be fixed. This was the second think that should have made me think twice about keep seeing this doctor as I had a regular mouth check only six months before and I might have expected a small cavity but no more as I regularly brush and my teeth. So I decide to take some time about the brackets and the root and scaling thing, I thought I would fix the two cavities in the meantime. When I went to the clinic the week after I was given a pro forma invoice with Al the treatments I needed (most of them unnecessary), when I read on the invoice 4 dental fillings FOUR. I made him notice that he told I had two cavities and he said " yeah but there are another couple there". Everybody knows that cavities are likely to double within a week . I decided to take an appointment and not to show up as I realized he was trying to rip me off. I later went to my old dentist who said I did not need the root and scaling thing ( more than 300 euros) and that my gum was just slightly inflamed and a normal teeth cleaning was enough (50 Euros). The four cavities turn out to be just a small was and I was charged form one fillings (45 euro) not FOUR (200 euros). STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
